1 -Pound Blue Crabmeat (picked through for shells)3
-(8-0z) Packages of Cream cheese
½ -cup sherry
1 ½ -cups grated Mozzarella cheese
¼ -teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 -Tablespoon Louisiana hot sauce
4 -tablespoons Paprika
1 -teaspoon garlic powder
¼ -teaspoon salt
Soften cream cheese and sherry in a mixing bowl. Blend with mixer until smooth. Add
cayenne, hot sauce, paprika, garlic, salt and mix. Add crabmeat and mozzarella cheese, and
fold together by hand.
Scoop into small baking dishes. (Can be chilled for several days. Wrap with clear
wrap.)
Preheat oven to 350. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until light brown on top. Serve with
crustinni toast to dip with.
Crustinni: slice French baguette or Italian bread into ¼ inch slices. Drizzle with
melted butter or olive oil. Lightly sprinkle with a little garlic powder and thyme.
Arrange on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until firm toasted.
