She is a graduate of the Self Heal School of Herbal Medicine in San Diego, CA. She has also studied extensively with Traditional American Indian Healers and been actively involved in the civil rights, promoting peace, and environmental movements.

Debora loves to sing and dance and also create collage shrines of recycled and collected items for fun and her own bliss and therapy.

Debora is a life long student, constantly updating and educating herself concerning the holistic healing arts and sacred sexuality and the arts.

My Dearest Ladies,

It's hard to believe that Ladyfire.com is eleven years old! A lot of water has traveled under the bridge in that time. Older and wiser, I've returned to Ladyfire to continue sharing the sacred journey of personal growth; what works, what isn't working, and everything in between.

I do so, affirming all the way that we can all learn from each other. I gain so much in creating this website and meeting everyone involved in the virtual world through this wonderful world wide web; which mimics our energetic heart connections to our source and each other. I see this technology which connects us via our computers as a microcosmic reflection of the macrocosmic energy we all are connected by.

The journey is what we need to focus on. In the end, we all go back to our place of origin. What is important is what we've learned, and how we've behaved toward one another. The goal, isn't something we are reaching toward-disconnected from us out there in the future, but how we are in each present moment.

My life has changed dramatically in the past 11 years. I've mellowed and am learning to accept my life with a newfound grace that only staying in the moment and being grateful for my glass half full can accomplish. I'll be writing this editorial again because it is my desire to share what I've learned.

About 7 years ago, I ended my marriage and moved across country to NM. I struggled and fought and cried and ached and laughed and made new friends and eventually life took me to the Pacific Northwest to be closer to my family. My dear mother and dad, sister, brother in law and their kids... I've started over again in a new part of the country, but with each time I start over, I'm starting from a higher starting line, and I win, by realizing that the finish line just keeps moving on... there is no finish... it's just a constant journey in getting to know the endless possibilities in front of us.
